Citi is a TPG advertising partner.
If you have a Citi credit card, check your email. You might have a valuable offer to earn up to 5 ThankYou points per dollar on spending this holiday season.
Depending on what card(s) you have, there are multiple offers floating around right now. You could earn on utilities, electronics, home improvement or online shopping. That last one is great timing for holiday shopping.
Let’s take a look at the offers we are seeing and which cards are being targeted.
Current Citi spending offers
Promotions vary by cardholder, but the offers are quite similar this time. You can earn 5 points per dollar in predetermined spending categories through Jan. 31, 2023.

The offers all give you the ability to earn 5 ThankYou points per dollar with a maximum of 2,500 points. You can achieve the maximum number of points by spending $500 on the bonus categories listed in your offer.
Here are bonus categories we’re seeing right now:
Cell and landline phone providers, internet providers and insurance providers.
Online purchases.
Consumer electronic stores, department stores, home improvement stores and home furnishing stores.
PayPal purchases.
Clothing stores, office supply stores, consumer electronic stores and department stores.
Note that these are targeted offers. That means not everyone will see the same offers or may not receive any offers at all.
It’s also important to note that the limit of bonus points is across all categories in your offer. Thus, you can’t spend $500 at consumer electronic stores and $500 at department stores to earn 5,000 points in the offer below. The spending is cumulative across all of your categories.
