To celebrate the unofficial end of summer, budget Icelandic airline Play is offering travelers the chance to book round-trip flights at 25% off to select Europen destinations.
This deal follows last week’s news of the airline’s expansion to Dulles International Airport (IAD) in April 2023.
Flights from New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Paris, London, Dublin and more start at just $266.
Although this deal can be booked through next week, we don’t expect these flights to last.

For example, you could book a round-trip ticket from SWF to DUB for $283 for late November. Be sure to select the “Special offer” fare, which will be indicated in purple on the right-hand side.

Remember that as a budget airline, Play charges its passengers extra for just about everything, including any carry-on item larger than a personal item that fits under the seat.
In booking Play fares, you’ll want to factor in an additional $51 for a full-size carry-on or $78 for a checked bag.
PLAY
Also, you’ll have to pay to select a seat, ranging from $5-$41, with the cheapest seats toward the back of the plane.
Most of these flights will have a stop in Keflavik, so you’ll need to select seats for each segment of the trip. Factoring in four seats at $5 each brings the total price of this fare to $299.

The information for the Citi Prestige Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
Bottom line
One-way flights to Europe start as low as $266 for the fare type alone, though you’ll have to pay extra for seat assignment at a minimum.
This deal provides the opportunity to book flights at a low rate for travel through next March, with wide availability.
Be sure to book by next Thursday, Sept. 7.
