In particular, many cities have these discounted flights, so, for example, if you live nearby Savannah, Georgia, or Reno, Nevada, then you’re in luck. Be aware though that almost all the flights include at least one layover.

We recommend using Google Flights to find the best dates and then book your flights directly through the airline’s website. One of the best parts of this deal is that it’s a discount on premium economy seats — most of the deals we typically flag are for economy or basic economy, but in this case you can fly to Istanbul with some comfort and at a sizeable discount.

The cheapest options for a Feb. 10 flight to Istanbul from New York City’s JFK are the Delta and Air France flights. One leaves New York City at 7:30 p.m., and the other at 9:30 p.m. Both include a layover in Paris (CDG) but the 7:30 flight has over a three-hour layover so keep that in mind when booking.

For flying back to New York City on Feb. 17, depart Istanbul at 7:25 a.m., but one flight is two hours longer than the other due to a long layover in Paris.
