Hilton has an opportunity to save big at some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts in its portfolio.
Guests can now get a fourth night free at many of Hilton’s high-end brands. The offer applies to certain stays at eligible Waldorf Astoria, LXR and Conrad properties.
This could be a way to save thousands of dollars at certain properties, but be sure to look closely at the details of your rate, anticipated total cost and rules of the offer because there are some cases where applying this promotion may actually work against you. Loyalty Lobby was the first to report the news of this offer.

Fourth night free
Hilton’s “An Extra Night of Extraordinary” allows Waldorf Astoria, LXR and Conrad guests who stay three nights to get a fourth night free. The offer applies to stays of four to seven consecutive nights. It does not appear that this promotion applies to Hilton Honors award stays.
There’s no expiration date for this offer on the promotion page, which shows a slew of participating, high-end Hilton properties across the world, including dozens in the mainland U.S., Hawaii, Mexico and some spectacular international destinations like Bali and the Maldives.

Be sure to enter the promotion code “LRM Extra Night” or “PBBOG1” when booking. When you enter the code for an eligible stay, you’ll notice that you won’t see the fourth night appear as “free.” It’s a bit more complicated than that. What really happens is that, based on the value of the fourth night, Hilton will give you a discount across all of the nights.
Here’s what the fine print says:
The value of fourth night stay will be applied as a discount to the daily rate paid for all consumed nights as a discount of 25% off nightly rate, which relates to the hotel’s Best Available Rate.
As I attempted to book with this promotion at various eligible properties, I found cases where the promo code did nothing (individual properties can determine their blackout dates and participation).
I also found some cases where my total cost went up after adding the code. My advice as you look into booking would be to add the code and see what happens to your total cost, and to use the promo code if it helps.

How this offer can help you save
I tried this offer with a booking for the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedegral, a spectacular Hilton property in Mexico.
Initially, my rate for a two-bedroom, Resort Casita Plunge Pool accommodation was a lofty $2,303 per night with the Honors discount, bringing my total including resort fees and other charges to $13,525.

I then added the promo code for the “An Extra Night of Extraordinary” offer.

my new nightly rate dropped to $1,762 and my total charges to $10,351 for a savings of $3,174.

Meanwhile, at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, nightly rates for a stay I looked at initially started at $1,150 for a Beach Villa.

Once I plugged in the promo code, nightly rates for the four-night stay dropped significantly to $937.

Bottom line

Hilton’s “An Extra Night of Extraordinary” promotion may not lend much or anything in the way of savings for some stays, but for others it could save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars at some of the company’s most prestigious brands globally.
Enter the code as you look at potential stays, and see if it saves you money.
